Join the Midwest Creation Fellowship (MCF) at its next meeting on December 4, where Helmut Welke will review the scientific evidence from astronomy that debunks the Big Bang Theory of origins.  He will also reveal the current evidence from observations and NASA space probes that indicate our solar system cannot be billions of years old!

Scientists have learned that DNA is far more useful and complex than was believed a few years ago.  Join us as we learn how environment and our choices can turn genes on and off, affecting us for generations, just the opposite of what evolution predicts.

Guest speaker and frequently published author, Jerry Bergman, holds a Ph.D. in Biology and has taught biology, genetics, biochemistry, and more at Northwest State College for over 25 years. His full bio is posted at: http://creation.com/dr-jerry-bergman.

Join us Tuesday, June 5, at 6:45 p.m. at 25W560 Geneva Road in Carol Stream.  Free admission and refreshments, but donations are welcome.  For more info, visit: http://www.midwestcreationfellowship.org, email: wscmcf@hotmail.com, or call: (847) 223-4730.

Many scientific truths have been written in the oldest books of the Bible thousands of years before modern science made those discoveries.  Last year, some of those truths were described in Part 1.  On January 3, find out how the Scriptures first revealed scientific facts about Hydrology, Genetics, Medicine, and more.  Principles such as the water cycle and allusions to DNA are revealed in ancient Bible passages.  This is a fun, inspiring presentation for the whole family with scientific experiments for your participation; and it is brought to you by the Midwest Creation Fellowship (MCF).

MCF is proud to welcome guest speaker, Dave D’Armond, professional geologist and frequent speaker on a wide variety of Creation science topics.  For the last 15 years he has also conducted hands-on science workshops for K-6, 7-12, and adult groups in conjunction with the “Good Science” curriculum from the Institute for Creation Research.  He recently completed the Answers in Genesis Creation College II.  His website: www.davescreationresources.com.

Meet us for free coffee and refreshments at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, January 3, 2012.  The presentation will be from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., including Q&A.  Admission is free, but donations are welcome.  We meet at: 25W560 Geneva Road in Carol Stream, IL.  The entryway is just west of Gary Avenue on Geneva Road, on the north side of the street.

Enter the drive just east of the sign (next to Slide Chart Company), turn at the MCF sign and park behind the building.  Enter through the rear door.  Handicapped parking is in front, with entrance through the front door.

Dr. Jerry Bergman delivered the intriguing history and new-found facts about Neanderthals, humans among us.

His talk covered a wide range of revealing, and often astonishing, information.  For instance, he pointed out the clear racism illustrated in the portrayal of the human evolutionary scale.

Additionally, we learned about the leaps of imagination the textbook artists were permitted to take with single-bone fossil finds in order to create a pre-human image that would fit the evolutionary model.  This was contrasted with the results when a whole Neanderthal skeleton was used, providing many more data points from which to develop a probable likeness.

A popular science magazine publishing the resulting whole skeleton image received loud complaints from readers that the new image of the Neanderthal was just like any other human alive today.  In fact, one woman wrote in to complain that the image looked just like her!

If you missed it, you may wish to review the June Supplementary Materials so you, too, can be caught up on the latest info on this extraordinary topic.
